Taste over noise
Latelyy is built around the belief that better discovery comes from curation, not volume. The product should help people feel understood, not overwhelmed.
ABOUT LATELYY
Latelyy started from a simple observation: cities are full of great places, but the products people use to choose them still create too much friction. Maps surface everything. Search rewards whatever is loudest. Group chats create indecision instead of alignment.
Latelyy is being built to solve that. It combines personalized recommendations, social planning, and business intelligence into one modern platform so the discovery journey feels more premium from both sides.
The company begins in Ottawa, but the ambition is much broader: to become the trusted decision layer for where people go and how venues get chosen.

FOUNDER STORY
Theliau founded Latelyy after seeing how often people around him felt disconnected from the best parts of city life, even when those experiences were already all around them.
As a Finance student at the University of Ottawa's Telfer School of Business with experience in hospitality and client-facing work, he brought both consumer empathy and operator awareness into the product from the beginning.
HOW WE THINK
Latelyy is built around the belief that better discovery comes from curation, not volume. The product should help people feel understood, not overwhelmed.
A night out can fall apart in the decision phase. Blend exists because group planning should feel collaborative and fast, not messy and exhausting.
Venue operators need more than impressions. Latelyy is designed to show how attention forms, who is responding, and where visibility is creating value.
